11.NOV.10, 18:26 It is true that there are many wineries and many different wine styles in our country, but rarely have so many wines in the style of Bodega López and not only that, but it is also one of the few wineries that have developed products throughout most 100 years to maintain its concept and being true to their thoughts about the how wine should be: easy to drink.

Marketing and sales:
Our marketing is focused on Argentina where we sell 95% of our products. We work with a commercial structure and logistics-oriented itself to the sale of our entire product line, with strong emphasis on their quality and customer service.


What is the approach from the winemaking aspect that defines the winery?
The style of our wines was planned by our grandfather, Federico, back in the 40's and has continued throughout the history of the winery. This wine is aged in oak casks of 5000 liters capacity, with true French style, easy to drink, soft tannins and a harmonious structure. This idea keeps it as a main feature of our winery, is the essence of our “Lopez Style”.

How the varietal lines Casona Lopez and Xero were born?
These wine lines are 100% single varietals, emerged as alternatives for our consumers and to introduce to the market varietal wines with more structure, color and tannins.

What is wine tourism to Bodega Lopez?
Initiated visits to the winery in 1998, about 13 years with small groups and now we already have a new, modern three-floor building, our "Centro de Turismo", which allows us to provide greater convenience and service to our visitors. Today we are able to show the history of Lopez and part of Argentina's wine industry, as not only do we offer to visit our wine cellar, cinema and facilities, but have also opened a museum with valuable materials used in winemaking, history of family photos, our old lines of wines and even advertising graphic pieces that show how we started.

Tourism for us is essentially loyal visitors, showing how we work, how we do things and professionalism of each area, to ensure the best quality in our wines. For this we have a wide range of tourist options and our new restaurant, which means that people can visit the winery, sparkling wine cellar, our vineyards, taste wines from vintages, our bottling line and wait for lunch or late afternoon to take a glass of sparkling wine with some cheese tables on the terrace. In summary:
Today the winery has a whole new area for visitors who come and want to discover and taste their wines. A spaced and shiny restaurant, with proper meals for the variety of products, a reception room, very cozy and quiet tasting and sales area, a mini-cinema and finally a neat museum with photos and items from different periods, thus reaching to tell the great history of López family. For this we consider the contribution that Lopez does today through their wines is to communicate a tradition, a culture, a way to develop a noble product that can be enjoyed by those "traditional drinkers" and the "new tasters."

And for those who want to learn how wines are made, how that style is achieved, one must reach Maipú, where the winery is located, you can take a tour, tasting and lunch and finally understand why a glass of López wine is part of Argentina wine culture.
