Ruca Malen was born in 1998 as the dream of Jean Pierre Thibaud and Jacques Louis de Montalembert, businessmen that got together bringing a long tradition in winemaking and a great passion for wine. Since the beginning, the aim has been to produce outstanding wines that you will remember because of their quality, style and elegance.
Bodega Ruca Malen is located in the middle of our 21 ha. vineyard and counts with different areas to welcome visitors, who can enjoy an amazing view of the Andes mountains.
Based on our excellent hosts and good service, we open our doors to visitors offering the following activities:
Tour and tasting: the tour to the winery begins with a visit to the vineyards, where the secrets of the soil give birth to the great wines we elaborate. Then it takes you to the tanks room and barrel cellar where the general characteristics of the fermentation and aging processes are explained. The tour comes to an end with a tasting session of our wines Yauquén, Ruca Malén y Kinién.

Saturdays at 10:00 am or 11:00 am

Tour and lunch: we offer a tasting-menu that aims to an excellent pairing between the suggestive cuisine of our Chef Lucas Bustos and the Ruca Malen wines. We serve six different wines from our lines of wines Yauquen, Ruca Malen and Kinien.
Monday to Sunday, we open at 12:00 pm
Visits to the winery at 12:30 pm in English, 1:00 pm in Spanish.
Booking required.
Blending game: in this experience everybody has the chance to make its own blend using three different wines called components. Once the blends are made by each participant or group, the best one is chosen through a bland tasting.
For groups up to 10 people.
