Rafting
There are so many ways to connect with the snowmelt waters of the Andes. We offer rafting trips year round for the adventurer looking for class III+ water. All of our runs are upstream of the Potrerillos Dam and Reservoir.
The continual rapids provide constant action throughout the decent. High summer flows, chalk-full of sediment, bring huge holes and haystacks. Low winter flows run clear with a natural slaolm course of exposed rocks.
The trips are run by our river guides with international experience and swift water rescue certificates. Safety kayakers join the group for additional support. All paddlers will be equipped with life jackets (pfd), wetsuits, splash pants and tops, river booties and helmet. Our river equipment is impeccably maintained and renewed often. We use self-bailing Hyside Hypalon 14’ boats
Zipline
Flying through the air suspended from a petzl trac pulley atach harnessed to a steel cable is a pure adrenaline experience, and the most exciting new extreme sport in Potrerillos.
Experience the rush and listen to the cable sing as we guide you over 1500 meters (5000 feet) on 6 different zipline cables, some over 40 meters (130 feet) above the Valley floor. Our longest cable stretches over 450 meters (1500 feet) crossing the Mendoza River.
Scenic Potrerillos Valley views and spectacular El Plata Mountain, 6100 meters high, (20,000 feet) coupled with incredible geological layers lifting from million year old mountain formations make an unforgettable zip line adventure experience.
Both Zipline Circuits, Base Tour and Adrenaline Tour, have been carefully designed, engineered, constructed and inspected to maximize your zipline thrill ride and ensure your safety. Two guides accompany each tour group. There are age, weight and fitness restrictions for safety considerations
Mountain bike
Adventure is everywhere in the Potrerillos Valley and exploring the area on bike is a perfect escape. Enjoy biking on well equipped mountain bikes through the desert back roads and trails of the Andes. Half day trips get you riding downhill and cross country with our guides, all year round.
Our guides can adapt the bike routes according to your cycling skills. Novice riders are welcome to tour around the lake, while more aggressive riders are challenged with bumpy downhill runs.
